#12 Review: Etude House - Dear Girls Vitcara Long & Curl

Spent this beautiful Tuesday in my room, in front of my lovely 14” monitor, with a cup of hot cappuccino and cookies, I bring you another review from Etude House.
“Etude House: Dear Girls Vitcara Long & Curl”

I’m just looking for mascara on my list. Just FYI, I do not wear mascara often. Too lazy to use it and I feel too lazy to clean it up later. Mwehehehe.

I prefer not to use mascara for my daily look. It’s not a big problem for me because my lashes actually not really thin and not really short.

And plus point, it’s already curl as well.

And, why do I decide to buy this product?

I really interested with its formula. Dear girls is etude house’s line which has a natural formula. Their BB cream, moisturizer, pact, lip tint, balm, and even their mascara. That’s why this mascara has a “VITcara” in its name.

And I already read some review ‘bout this mascara and I thought the result is good.

(For sure, it’s really hard to find a review bout this mascara -_-)

Without any Cha Chi Choo, let’s see ma review about this product…

DESCRIPTION
It claims for short and non-elastic eyelashes.
Dear Girls Vitcara Long & Curl is a combination of Etude House Lash Designing Vitcara.
Lash designing vitcara was come with 2 versions. Fiber base and regular volume (curl).
And this dear girls vitcara is mixed by that two products with new looks and more healthy formula.

PACKAGING
As always, etude house has a cute packaging. And dear girls always come with their pinkish and super girly design.
This mascara has a pink and grey color, with floral and cute pink ribbon print on it.
Length: 11.5 cm
Diameter: 1.5 cm

Will last 6 months after the lid opened

FORMULA and TEXTURE
It seems like mascara as usual. Liquid but not too liquid, a bit creamy may be.
And it has “hairy” texture because it’s fiber base mascara.
The color is very black and it makes your eyes look bold.
Dear girls product has a free, pure and health formula.
And it claims:
FREE > Free benzophenone, triethanolamine, sulfate, surfactant, and talc.
HEALTHY > Contains fresh fruit extracts with abundant vitamins such as kiwi, apricot, grapefruit, raspberry and orange water.
PURE > Contains 3 types of safe ingredient including lavender floral water, witch hazel water, and calendula flower extract certified by eco cert.

BRUSH
Seriously, I really disappointed with its brush when I try this mascara on my lashes.
The brush is SUCK!!
Actually, its brush isn’t look like a “brush”. It was more like a comb.
It makes my lashes clotted.
And the worst thing is this mascara mess up to my eyelids.
Oughhh!! Big NO NO.
I feel disappointed for having bought something very bad.
I bet you must be knew how it hurts when you buy something that will be useless.
But, I remember a review that I read before, and remember how it looks good on their eyes.
So I just tried to convince myself that this product will works on my lashes.
I picked up the brush again, and applying it very carefully.
I’m trying to find a way how to use this tool to work properly as well as it should.

And finally, I can use it and I love how it makes my lashes look longer and curly.
Actually, my lashes have a natural curl. And I never curl my lashes using eyelash curler before.
But this mascara makes my eyes look more open and like… hhmmm… Could I name it “dolly”?

SMUDGEPROOF and WATERPROOF
When I try to smudge it, it stayed on my lashes and when I watering my lashes the mascara didn’t fade away.
But, after my lashes are wet then I rub it gently, it will gone.
I need a long time for using it neatly. So don’t ever use this mascara if you’re in being rushed.

CONS
Don’t rub it when your lashes wet. Just let it dry first.
The brush is very bad.
Make my lashes clotted if I didn’t use it carefully.
Not really like the fiber base mascara even it makes my lashes longer and thick.
