#20 Review: Skinfood - Buckwheat Loose Powder in Rice Shimmer
I've changed my blog's template (again) and I just feel like hmmm this is what I want.
Soft and pastel colors, brown and pink with chic back song. Do you like it?
Okay, let's start this review...
Skinfood Buckwheat Loose Powder is not a new product. It's sooo last year. Sooo, why do I wanna try this product?
Because this loose powder is one of bestseller product by Skinfood.

Buckwheat comes with 5 shades.
10 Transparent
21 Skin Beige
23 Natural Beige
40 Lavender
80 Rice Shimmer

When I wanna buy this product, I choose natural beige because it will suits with my skintone and I more into matte finish for daily look.

I'm a kind of someone who love to try something new for makeup, then I've changed my mind... Hehehe...
No..no..no... Actually, The natural one was out of stock in my trusted online shop.
So... Yahhh...
I picked the Rice Shimmer up to try.
I think rice shimmer is their new color shade because there's no rice shimmer's picture in their official poster.
I screamed like a little girl when I had my buckwheat powder on hand.
Does it make my face glowing, shining and stunning?

PACKAGING
I really love something which comes with vintage and pretty classic design. I fall in love with this packaging so damn.
It's so PPHHWWEETTYYY!! (like me, yaks!)
It has silver color and pretty carving design on the lid.
My bestfie told me that the packaging like a vintage princess's makeup stuff.
It made by transparent plastic for the bottom, so it more easy to see its shade.
SPONGE
Fortunately, this loose powder comes with a very very soft sponge for your skin.
I prefer to use a powder brush for applying this powder. After that, I slowly pat my face using this sponge.
TEXTURE and COLOUR
Its texture is just like another powder texture. The texture is smooth and very easy to blend it out on your face using a brush or a sponge. I really like the final result that makes my skin feel smoother.
For colour, mine is Rice Shimmer.
Actually, it seems like transparent shade with glittery in it. It has shimmery powder that will make your face shining and glowing. So, I prefer to use this product for special events or when I go to the special places, not for daily use.
It will make me look like one of CULLEN's FAMILY when I stood up under the sun light. Hehehe. In my case, my T-zone area will oily after few hours, ssoo...it will make my face really shine and looks very oily if I use it for my daily activity.
COVERAGE
I told you that this powder has transparent shade with shimmery things. So, I don't expect much about it, I mean, its coverage. It's TRANSPARENT. You should use this product only for final touch.
STAY POWER
It stays on my face only for 3-4 hours. But, since this product has transparent shades and I think I only need its shimmery effect on my face, it's not a big deal.
After few hours, you may feel that this powder just gone, but you still can see the shimmers stayed on your face.

CONS
Sheer coverage
The stay powder isn't good enough, you need to touch up after few hours.
Not for daily look
Sometimes I find it hard to use this product because I have troublesome to put it out.
OVERALL
I wear this product for special events. I love how it makes my face glowing and the illusion of that shimmer makes my face brighter.
If you are someone who looking for daily loose powder with matte finish. This product will not suits to you.
But, if you looking for something for make your face glowing with dewy finish, you should try this product.
FYI, Sometimes, I use this product as my daily highliter. You can use it for highlite your cheekbones, your browbones, nose and chin.
